First Aid/CPR/AED

Is it time for you to become (or renew) First Aid/CPR/AED certified?

If you would like to become First Aid/CPR/AED certified or your certification is up for renewal, there will be classes offered in both the Jackson and Memphis areas this school year. Training will be presented by the American Red Cross. The training will be for homeschool students and their family members who either would like to become certified or need to renew. Participants do no have to be Homeschool Roster members to attend.


The purpose of the courses in the CPR/AED/First Aid program is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.


Suggested age
Suggested age is upper elementary and older. If you have a child younger and think they can handle comprehending the material and can lift 55 pounds or more, they should do fine.


The price will be affordable and similar to when Homeschool Roster last offered the training. More information will be posted once the dates and locations have been confirmed.
