MoHs - Mothers of Homeschoolers!

If you’ve ever struggled with feeling alone in your homeschooling mission and have desired a place to connect with other homeschool moms where you can share your joys, fears, questions and successes then “Welcome to M.O.H.’s”!

Finally, a place where you can share your heart and connect in a real way with other moms that understand your passion to educate your children at home.

Take some time to recharge and have your cup refilled with God’s word while gaining encouragement from other moms by ‘doing’ homeschool life together. There are 6 MoH days scheduled: Sept 13 & 27, Oct 25, Nov. 8 & 22, & Dec 6

Oct 11-Special Meeting- Guest speaker- Todd Wilson-The FamilyMan

We will be doing the Bible Study,  " 12 Women in the Bible" and have guest speakers. 

How will I do this with my kids?  It gets even better:  Your children, grades vpk and up will have classes available to them that will be fun and educational.     Your kids will socialize and learn while you are encouraged and refreshed.

Childcare for birth - 3yrs is FREE in the A building (off the Commons)

Class  Fees:   $30 for the first child and $20 for each additional child.

Classes will be first come, first serve, but I will need payment within 10 days of sign-ups to keep them registered.  

Childcare: FREE &  Moms Group- FREE

VPK-4-5 yrs-This class will have assorted activities to benefit your vpk child. Art, crafts, Alphabets, counting, storytime, games. Classs size is limited, and when full, you can sign up for free childcare instead.Dance class Ages 5-7 -The students will learn a dance for one hour and then rotate to another classroom where they will have crafts, activities, games, and more. There will be a final performance Dec 6.Class is FULL

Lego class- Ages 5-6yrs Each week we will have a topic and create with our LEGOS based on the topic. We will also have games and activities.

Dance class -Ages 8-10 -The students will learn a dance for one hour and then rotate to another classroom where they will have crafts, activities, and more. There will be a final performance Dec 6.

Homeschool science class- Ages 8-11yrs- In this class the instructor will do many demonstrations to help children learn about various science topics like Chemistry and Charge. Students will also work on their own hands on experiment for each class. All materials provided. Class is full

Classical & Modern Music Appreciation- Ages 8 & up It is a chronological walk thru music from 1500s - 1950s and the second half is on modern music written in last 50 years. Also includes some historical background of what is happening in the world at the time the music is written. They listen to 2 to 4 minute snippets from composers while drawing or writing what the music makes them think of. Then we have a discussion where they share their impressions with each other. SUPPLIES: The students will need to bring a sketch pad . Markers & colored pencils will be available.

Cooking for the seasons- Ages 8 & up- This semester we will be learning some old & new recipes that go along with the four seasons. Along with some creative meals we will be making drinks & desserts. There is an additional $5 supply fee to purchase ingredients. Class is FULL

Students ages 13 and up can volunteer to be helpers in the classrooms.  They will need to fill out a volunteer form online and get approved. They will earn volunteer hours that can be applied to Bright Futures.

How to Sign Up for classes, childcare, and MoHs meetings:  At the end of this description, it will say "Sign Up Now" Click that and proceed.

Enter ATTENDEE information: Person 1 is the mom. The individual price option, you will select Moms Meeting $0.00 Class choice will be Mom’s meeting. Then you will click the (+ Additonal Attendee) Person 2 Now you will add your first child’s name, select 1st student $30, add class choice. Continue until you have listed all your children, including the childcare 0-3yrs olds) Remember to select the correct individual price- 1st child $30, Additional children $20, childcare $0.00 and Moms $0.00.

Please pay upon sign-up with cash, check or credit card options available. We will hold the class for your child for 10 days. IF payment is not received within the 10 days, your child’s sign up will be released.
