Mission & Goals
PTSA Mission and Goals
Eastside Homeschool PTSA is an inclusive community offering academic enrichment and social support to homeschooling families on the eastern side of Lake Washington. Our member families represent the full spectrum of homeschooling philosophies and practices, from unschooling to participation in school district ALE programs. We welcome families from all cultural and religious backgrounds and we strive to maintain an environment where all students can feel comfortable sharing their unique ideas, beliefs, traditions, interests and talents.
EHPTSA does not discriminate based upon race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, political affiliation, nor physical or mental disability unrelated to one’s ability to work and enjoy the full benefits of our program or facilities.
We provide a wide array of courses including art, nature classes, electronics, drama, dance, French, a variety of science and other core classics. Our classes are designed to support whatever educational efforts you choose to make outside EHPTSA. We participate in community outreach efforts through our classes in an effort to leave a positive impact on the world.
The Eastside Homeschool PTSA was formed in 2006 to support all local homeschoolers with a strong homeschooling community and a quality Educational Enrichment Program, housed in a safe, cooperative environment.
Our parent community is an invaluable benefit of joining us. We share field trip ideas, great class suggestions, laughter, and a good time while our children are in class. Because our community is so wide ranging, it offers all parents an opportunity to connect to other homeschooling parents with like minded values and goals for their children.
Eastside Homeschool PTSA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization!
