Humanities

This two-hour block is an integrated humanities course driven by delightful read aloud books focusing on stories from ancient civilizations. Student will dive deep into the literature while exploring history, geography, composition, poetry, art, music, and church history.

In-Class Curriculum: Literature selections from the ancient civilizations (read aloud in class).

At Home Recommendations: Parents are responsible for choosing a language arts curriculum for at home instruction. Parents may wish to purchase Biblioplan Ancients or Story of the World: Ancient Times for further Bible and History studies.

Imagination Hour

 

This class is designed for students to enjoy interactive, imaginative activities in a worksheet free environment. Activities will include a combination of music, poetry, story books, dress up, fairy tales, and open-ended art projects. All of the activities in this class will be play-based and without specific academic outcomes. This is a class for students to engage in meaningful, restful learning.

Science

Students will enjoy Charlotte Mason inspired nature study. Students will learn to observe, name, contemplate and journal while discovering God's creation.
