Our group is planning to form a middle school (grades 6-8) co-op for the 2022-2023 school year. Members are welcome to share their gifts and talents to offer a class or share a particular skill that may interest the other members. |

Is SGRCH an umbrella school? |
A: |
No, we are not an umbrella school, which means you still keep your own records to meet state attendance, testing, and immunization requirements. We are unaware of any Catholic umbrella schools in Colorado Springs at this time. However, there are umbrella schools in the area. One such school is Statheros Academy. Another unbrella school in Parker, CO is Christian Home Educators of Colorado CHEC Independent School. Immaculate Heart Catholic School (IHCS) operates under option 2 of the Colorado Homeschool Law. The school administrator is Taffy Duncan. Cost is $10 to enroll. She belongs to the Denver Catholic Homeschool group. Contact: IHCS@outlook.com or (303) 601-1428. |
