*** 2026-2027 Registration opens June 6 at 8:00 am ***

NOTE: Band registration will close on Sept. 26. Only students new to HCS may register mid-year with director approval.

An audition is required for new students joining Concert Band and Jazz Band. Contact Christa Beyenhof at band@hcssd.org to request an audition.

To REGISTER for Band or String Ensemble, visit the 26-27 Band Club Registration matrix below.
--> Click on the ensemble you want to join. The box should expand to show the ensemble Description, with your family members listed on the right hand side.
--> Check the boxes of the students you want to register for the group, and click the gray REGISTER button above their names.

CHOOSE A PARENT JOB One parent per family must sign up for at least one parent job. There are event-specific jobs which mostly occur at performances and weekly jobs that occur at Music Academy on Fridays. When you sign up your child, please choose your parent job as well.

In addition, all families may be expected to sign up for at least one fundraiser parent job as this may be our one fundraiser event for the year.

2026-2027 Band Fees per Student

$65 annual club fee (once for each Band/Choir student)
$100 per semester for the first ensemble
$50 per semester for any additional ensemble

**The first ensemble fee includes a director fee.

**Band Fees will be billed to the family's HCS account in October and February

**No one will be billed for fees until October, so you have four weeks to decide whether or not you want to commit to the Band ensemble for the school year.
