1st period: 9:00 am - 10:25 am
2nd period: 10:30 am- 11:55 am
LUNCH 11:55 am-12:25 pm
3rd period: 12:35 pm-2:00 pm
4th period: 2:05 pm-3:30 pm

Class Drop Policy:
All classes are offered as annual classes. Should a student drop on or before the 2nd class meeting, a refund will be issued from the teacher minus the materials/lab fee and a fee for the class(es) attended. After the 2nd class, the teacher will retain the full 1st-semester payment. Once a student has taken any class in the 2nd semester, there will be no refund given for any portion of the class fee.

The final drop date to receive any portion of the 1st-semester fee is August 24, 2026

Admin fees are payable to HCS.
Class fees are payable directly to the teacher.

Registration for any class assumes agreement to all HCS Policies as stated in the below Academy Parent/Student Handbook.

As with all HCS services, parents are required to volunteer time in order to participate in Academy. Each parent must sign up for two volunteer slots per student enrolled in Academy. If you are able and willing to take on more slots, feel free to do so!

On the weeks that we have low parent volunteers on campus, the fellowship room (and other parts of campus) may be closed and students will need to remain in study hall quietly studying during their off-periods.

A limited number of setup or cleanup jobs are available and can be completed by your high school student in your place. Due to the high interest in these limited number of jobs, all parents wanting one of these slots must meet the following criteria:

1. parents who work full-time on Mondays
2. non-working parents who have previously volunteered in "monitor" roles
3. students who are responsible and have their own transportation

There is a NON-REFUNDABLE $85 per class Admin fee payable to HCS due within 30 days of class registration. The Admin Fee also applies to Study Hall/Fellowship Hall periods. You will be billed for this fee from the HCS office. Students whose Admin fee is outstanding after 30 days will be automatically removed from classes. You will need to re-register for those classes, assuming there is still space available.

***Admin fees will not be refunded for any reason.***

Important Dates to Note for the 2026-2027 School Year

March 2, 2026 - Re-enrollment and New Family Enrollment Opens
March 9 and March 23 - Open House for all Classes
April 6, 2026 - Meet and Greet - All Academy families are strongly encouraged to attend
April 9, 2026 - Early registration for Lead Class Day or Academy teachers and all members of the HCS Leadership Team
April 10, 2026 - Registration for eligible existing HCS members
April 13, 2026 - Open Registration
August 10, 2026 - Mandatory Academy Orientation
August 17, 2026 - 1st day of classes
August 24, 2026 - last day to drop for any partial refund of the 1st-semester class fee
December 14, 2026 - end of 1st semester for Academy
January 11, 2027 - 1st day of 2nd semester for Academy - no refunds of the class fee after this date
May 17, 2027 - Last Day of Academy
