What is Central Baldwin Homeschool Cooperative? |

A ministry of Bethel Baptist Church in Robertsdale, AL, we are a group of families who come together and volunteer time to teach classes for homeschooled students. We try to offer both academic and enrichment class options, and we have classes for children in 1st-12th grade. |

What ages of children are allowed to register? |

We accept school aged children who are currently homeschooling (this does NOT include students doing virtual school). |

What about my preschool aged child? |
A: |
If you are going to be teaching during a class time slot we will have an adult supervised classroom for them to stay in. If you are NOT teaching during a class time slot we require that you: a) have a school aged child taking a class at that time and b) that you remain in the preschool room with your preschooler. |

Can I drop my child off? |

No, you must stay on church grounds while co-op classes are in session. |

How much does it cost? |
A: |
We require a $20.00 registration fee that goes to Bethel Baptist Church (to help cover cleaning supply cost, etc.), $9.50 website fee, and whatever class fees your child accumulates when you register them for classes. All class fees must be paid before the school year starts, and your website fee must be paid before you may register for classes. Fees are nonrefundable after August 1st each year. |

How much are class fees? |

Class fees vary in amount and are set by the volunteer teacher for each class. For the 2021/2022 school year our class fees ranged from $0 - $15.00. |

What days of the year do you meet? |

Our school year runs from September through April, unless otherwise noted. We do not meet for classes on the first Thursday of each month, and around certain holidays. We do post our schedule on our website, so everyone is aware of exactly when we me |

Do you do field trips? |

Yes! We try to have them scheduled on the first Thursday of the month but occasionally they fall on a different day of the week (although they will never take the place of a scheduled class day. You may sign up to participate in field trips only, and if you choose to do that we will only collect the website fee of $9 |

What time are classes? |

We begin our day at 9:30 A.M. in the sanctuary for announcements and prayer. Class times are 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM and 12:30 PM, with lunch from 12:00-12:30 PM. |

Do I have to register for a full day? |

No, but you will still be required to clean at the end of the day, even if that means you leave and come back when classes are |

When will registration be open? Is there a way to register my child before others? |

Registration is done through our website, so your website fee must be paid to register. If you are teaching a class you will be given priority registration over families who do not have an adult teaching a class. Please let us know ASAP if you would like to volunteer your time to help teach. Registration will be opened in July. |
