Welcome to The Field Cooperative!

We support families interested in creating and sustaining community in the Philadelphia region through a variety of activities such as field trips, hikes, social events, and book clubs. Because we are a cooperative, our members have the opportunity to contribute to the planning and coordinating of activities. We are welcoming and inclusive.

Each family may attend as many field trips or events as they want. We make an effort to vary the days these gatherings occur to accommodate many schedules. In addition to the relationships we establish with one another and the surrounding community, other benefits include: connection and resource sharing with others pursuing alternative forms of education as well as access to our website which hosts forums, classifieds, and a calendar where interesting local events as well as co-op events are posted. We welcome new members in the belief that a multitude of diverse experiences and backgrounds makes The Field Co-op thrive.
