Who we Are

Freedom Academy's mission is to serve and partner with homeschooling families in Mt. Juliet and surrounding area. Our program meets on Mondays at Mt. Juliet Church of the Nazarene, where we are proud to work with the church. Our goal is to come alongside families in their homeschool journey, offering academics in addition to support and enrichment activities in a Christian environment.

We offer tutorial classes for grades K-6 for 30 weeks from 9:30 am-2:30 pm. Morning classes for elementary will primarily focus on history and science, while the afternoon will offer elective classes such as art, music, writing, Spanish, and PE. Our Kindergarten program meets for a 2-hour block in the mornings.

We are a volunteer-run organization and we believe parental involvement is vital to a successful homeschooling endeavor. We do try to balance this with your own family responsibilities and commitments. Our service requirements at this time are:

Serve three (4) half-days on-site at TGCA and serve on one (1) activity committee.
