James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl Educational Outeach
After his parents are killed by a rhinoceros, orphaned James is sent to live with his Aunt Spiker and Aunt Sponge who treat him horribly. One day, James meets an old man who gives him a bag containing the strongest magic in the world. When James accidentally spills the bag near an old peach tree, the most marvelous things happen! With his new friends---Centipede, Earthworm, Grasshopper, Ladybird, and Spider---James sets off on an incredible adventure in a giant peach across the ocean to New York.

HACC’s program is targeted to the K-5th grade levels and will begin promptly at 9:45 a.m. in HACC's Rose Lehrman Arts Center Theatre. The live performance, lasting approximately 55 minutes, will be immediately followed by our popular "talk-back" session with the cast, director and crew. We finish with an autograph session on the grass mall in front of the building lasting until approximately 11:30 a.m.

As a bonus for our attendees, all will receive an educational packet that will contain background information and discussion points for the storyline and live theatre performance. Also included at no extra charge will be copies of the actual script for teachers to read and share with their students prior to attending the performance. Register by 11/4/18 for a reduced student price of $5.00 per student. After 11/4 tickets are $5.50. No fee is charged for chaperones.
