Adapted by Eric Coble from the Newberry Award-winning book by Lois Lowry. Directed by Dave Olmstead. Jonas' world is perfect . Everything is under control and safe. There is no war, feat or pain.There are also no choices. Every person is assigned a role in the community. But one day, Jonas is chosen for special training from The Giver - to receive and keep the memories of the community. Now Jonas will learn the truth about life and the hypocrisy of his utopian world. 

The live performance will be immediately followed by a "talk-back" session with cast, director and crew. Then there will be an autograph session in the grass mall in front of the building lasting until approximately 11:30am.
