NOTE: This class is a prerequisite for the Install Flight Camera Quadcopter (offered in Nov 2020).

In this 5-class course (1 hr/class), Katapult will teach the basics of assembling, programming, and flying a micro-sized RC Quadcopter. The quadcopter frame will be 3D printed. Students will learn how to install motors, props, flight controllers, and bind transmitters for flight control. Class takeaways:  Basic Quadcopter components, usage, and installation, Propellor balancing and rotation, Onboard flight controller programming and Preflight verification and first flight.

All components will be mailed to the student by Katapult (equipment and postage is included in the price of the class). Students must have access to a computer and the internet. Windows machines are preferred however Katapult should be able to support IOS machines as well. Adult supervision during classes is requested. All classes will include emailed documentation and attendees on a joint ZOOM.
