Are you looking to give your child something to do on those cold days of winter? Look no further. Local artist, Cindy Conley, will present a single lesson on how to get started - easily - with drawing. “Truly there is absolutely no way to fail at art,” is the premise Mrs. Conley lives by. Cindy focuses on portraits of both people and animals. Her main mediums are charcoal and pencil (graphite). She has won numerous awards for her drawings including first place for her drawing at the 2-day Christian Concert & Arts Festival called “Purple Door” that used to be held at Ski Roundtop, where she was competing against other artists, in multiple medias, from all over North America (including Canada.) She instructs in both private and group settings with homeschoolers and her grandchildren. Her heart is to promote the understanding that everyone can be a true artist. The goal for this lesson is to inspire. With Mrs. Conley’s instruction, the children will create a Valentine’s Day themed drawing. YOU provide the child and the supplies – a simple #2 pencil and a piece of paper – and Mrs. Conley will do the rest.

NOTE: We need a minimum of 4 students for this class to be held. This will be a ZOOM class to be held in the safety and warmth of your own home.

In signing up for a HAHA field trip or class, you are agreeing to our covid waiver. The waiver is viewable on our homepage.
