Strawberry Hill IS a drive but it offers the neatest programs! Come and meet Strawberry Hill’s newest Ambassador: Strix the barred owl! Did you know owls eat their prey whole? Their body digests what it can and what cannot be digested gets regurgitated as a pellet. This indoor, classroom-style program introduces learners to birds of prey, the food chain, and even includes an owl pellet dissection! (Offered just in time to give your students lots of trivia to share with family over the Thanksgiving Day table)
Minimum of 10 students needed to hold this program.
