Mr. Gainor will focus on home electrical needs – how a house receives electricity and how it is distributed throughout the house. Learn about breaker boxes and the difference between 110v & 220v. Practice hooking up both a switch and a receptacle (not with live electricity!) Learn about GFCI outlets – what they are and why (& where) they are needed. Understand basic repairs that commonly relate to electricity.
Each 2 hr class will be held in person at Mr Gainor’s house. In addition, he will assign homework & there will be one Zoom lesson (9/28/22 from 2p-3p). There will be a graded quiz at the end of the class. In all, this class will give your student 16 hours of instruction.
This is the 1st in a series of 4 classes. Signing up on this date ONLY will give you the option of signing up for just the electrical session or signing up for all 4 classes at a discounted rate!
