After much searching, we have discovered Mr. Mike Donovan, a professional photographer who is willing to share his love of photography with our students. Throughout the series of 3 lessons, he will discuss several topics:
How your camera makes a photograph
People photography
Landscape photography
Abstract photography
Composition
Use of color
Choosing a subject
Although the above topics are the same as the 11-14 age classes, these topics will be covered more in depth. He might even cover manual exposure. Bring something on which to write any notes or ideas you may have during the class, your digital camera (or phone), and a love – or at least a curiosity – about the art of photography.
Note: Pictures created during this class – or as a result of this class – may be entered into HAHA’s Art Show in May.
