Historical Journeys has an opportunity available to homeschool families only.

See Gettysburg through the eyes of a family.

This program will introduce you to civilians who lived in Gettysburg at the time of the battle and share their story with you in person of what they experienced as a family.

Held at The Heritage Center Museum in Gettysburg 297 Steinwehr Ave, Gettysburg PA 17325

Meeting at 10 am inside the museum. The program will run until approximately 3pm in the afternoon. please bring a packed lunch

Costs are as follows:

-Historical Journeys interactive program and walking tour of the town is $15 per student (accompany parents are free)

-Heritage Center Museum tour is paid separately to the museum upon arrival

students age 6-12 are $6.50

adults age 13 and up is $8.50

Your day with us will start with meeting the civilians of Gettysburg followed by your self-guided experience of the Heritage Center museum.

There will be a lunch break provided and a conference room available for you to enjoy your packed lunch. Restroom facilities are available, provided by the museum.

After lunch, the walking tour of historic Gettysburg town will commence. Each student will be provided a workbook to take along on the walking tour that is geared toward their grade level.
