Huntsdale Fish Hatchery is FINALLY open and they will be “milking” the brown trout EARLY on Tues, Oct 12th. How do they “milk” a fish, you ask? Come and see! We will watch as the employees catch and “milk” the fish, learning about fish reproduction. They will also give us a tour of their facility, walking us among the outdoor, concrete raceways, pointing out the fish at various ages. n they will pass out some fish food and allow us to feed the fish. re is also in indoor display (pond) explaining the culture of warm/coolwater fish and other wildlife.

Note: Depending upon the number of attendees, the hatchery may split us up into smaller groups but everyone will get the same experience. This is an indoor/outdoor activity so dress appropriately. This facility is handicapped accessible.
