Join us at the Cumberland County Historical Society and let Mr. March teach us about the Great Depression. The Roaring Twenties came to a crashing end in 1929 with the emergence of a world-wide economic depression. No longer was it a time of frivolity. It was time to make do or do without. Come explore how the Great Depression affected county residents and how some survived while other thrived.
