Come and join us at our 4th Annual Homeschoolibration! It is a celebration of homeschooling and we want YOU to be there!
We will have free, Italian ice for the kids (and those who are kids at heart), door prizes, and fun activities. Pack a lunch and stay awhile or come and go. Connect with old friends and even make some new ones! Please remember to bring sunscreen, water, and lawn chairs to ensure you have somewhere to sit. It is also a great time to renew your HAHA membership and pay your dues.
We are excited to announce that Homeschoolibration will be hosting Shady Rest Apiary - a bee keeper - from 12:30p to 1:30p! John & Kay Deardorff will bring along their “observation hive” where children can get an up close & personal look at a hive without the fear of being stung and we will meet “Ms. Polly Nator.” Kay Deardorff (aka Polly Nator) is buzzing with information about pollinators and busy bee activities. She'll share the sweet facts about the process of gathering nectar and pollen as well as the different jobs the worker bees do within the hive. You'll want to listen carefully as she talks about who "bee"longs in the hive. There are so many interesting facts to learn. You won't want to miss the buzz coming to your area.
A few of this year's door prizes include: Ashcombe's, Autobahn Indoor Racing, Crystal Cave, Giant, Hawk Mountain, Hershey Company, Rita's, Sheetz, Staples, Trindle Bowl, Twirly Top, Wegman's, and many more.
Does all this sound like fun but you’re not a member? (gasp) Perhaps you have heard about HAHA but not sure it’s right for you? You are welcome to join us, too! Come learn what HAHA is all about, see a list of the activities we have planned (so far) for the upcoming school year, make connections with other homeschoolers, and be encouraged in your homeschool journey. And if you decide HAHA is a good fit for your family, becoming a member is easy and can be done on the spot.
