Student Contract

 

 

1. I will be attentive and obedient to all teachers and adults at the co-op.

• No disrespect.                 

• No complaining.

• No back talk or arguing.            

• Good manners (please, thank you, yes ma’am, no ma’am).

 

2. I will not disrupt or bother other students:

• Keep hands to myself.            

• No running in church buildings.

• Treat people with respect. No name-calling.    No hitting.

• Respect other people’s belongings.    

• No roughhousing.

• Speak softly in hallways.        

• No use of electronics in class (iPod, video, cell phone)

 

3. I will be responsible for my belongings and church property:

• Clean up my own trash.

• Take home all papers and projects.

• Keep feet off furniture, doors, walls etc. 

• Will not sit on tables. For my safety I will keep all four chair legs on the floor.

• Follow all rules and be solely responsible for all electronic apparatus.

• Cell phones in class must be turned off and not seen nor used for notification of time or texting.

• Eat ONLY in designated areas and at designated times, and never throw liquids in trash cans.

• Respect church rules and church property. 

• Will not go on the stage or touch any equipment in the church sanctuary or youth room without supervision. 

• Will not wear Heelys, or bring skateboards to co-op. (non-insured items under our liability policy)

• Will not bring any toys or the like to class.

 

4. I will abide by the dress code as specified in the co-op Policies and Procedures.

 

5. I will do my best to correct any problems as indicated by my teachers in a timely manner.

 

6. I will be attentive in class. I will participate to the best of my ability and work both individually and as a team as an active part of the class.

 

7. I will make every effort to attend every scheduled class in which I am enrolled, and will be responsible for obtaining and completing assignments from my teachers if I must be absent. Under no circumstance will I leave the church property without parental consent and/or parent/designated adult.  If I become disruptive in class, my teacher will take me to my parent. I realize I will not be allowed to participate in class again until I have made appropriate restitution for my offensive behavior with my parent(s), teacher and/or Core Members.
