The H.O.P.E. Christian Homeschool Co-op was the brainchild of Jessica Thompson, a homeschooling mother who saw a need for a Christ-centered homeschool cooperative in the Stow-Falls area. From there, others joined her in this quest, and the co-op is becoming what it will be for the 2022-23 school year! We are so excited to see what the co-op becomes, and pray that our endeavors glorify Christ and give Christian homeschool families the support and encouragement they need.
H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People Educate) Christian Homeschool Co-op strives to be a Christian homeschool cooperative that meets the enrichment needs of families living in Stow, Cuyahoga Falls, Munroe Falls, and surrounding areas. We want to not only enrich the families’ lives educationally, but also spiritually. We want this to be a fun and safe environment for families to grow together and support each other in the homeschool community.

Our Leadership Team
Jessica Thompson, Co-Director
Jessica Thompson has lived in Stow her whole life. She has been married since 2005 and has 5 children. She went to Kent State University and holds a degree in early childhood education. (Don’t worry! She doesn’t believe a parent needs an education degree in order to homeschool). This fall will begin her 11th year of homeschooling her children. She was part of a co-op in the past, but she started to wonder if others would be interested in a co-op in the area. After reaching out, it didn’t take her long to discover it was what families were wanting. Therefore, H.O.P.E. was born! She is looking forward to supporting and building a relationship with fellow homeschool families.
Corrine Corbett, Co-Director
Corrine recently moved to northeast Ohio in the fall of 2021. She previously lived in Wapakoneta, OH where she co-founded and directed the Wapakoneta Christian Homeschool Co-op and the West Central Ohio Homeschool Support Group. She has homeschooled for 12 years and is enthusiastic about serving and advocating for the homeschool community. She also works remotely for Collaborative Care Behavioral Therapy doing their HR, billing, and general office stuff. When she’s not homeschooling or working, Corrine enjoys date nights with her husband of 20 years, playing board games with her 6 children, and having coffee and chatting with friends.
Mary Lawther, Leadership Team
Mary lives in Cuyahoga Falls with her husband Jeff and their four daughters. She has been homeschooling for three years and is excited to find a community of families who has a passion for at home education. While the world of co op is new to her, she is eager to jump in and help the members of H.O.P.E. feel welcome and excited to teach and learn from each other. She is a co coordinator of a new AHG troop and a lifelong member of the Fishcreek Nazarene Church in Stow.
