Then the WCCHE Field Trip Co-op is right for you!
Watch for updates on the forum and email me if you are interested in participating this year. Don't forget to pay your dues so you will receive the messages. The WCCHE Field Trip Coop is a benefit of becomming part of our group.
It is as easy as 1-2-3.
- Be a current member of WCCHE in good standing and email
- Plan a field trip for this school year ( first-year co-op members do not need to do this)
- Sign up for trips and go have fun!
Sign-ups will be held in late August for fall semester and early January for spring semester.
Trips will run from early September to mid-December and late January to early May.
You choose how many trips you want to join and which work best for your family. One trip to attend is fine, or one every week, this is up to you!
The only requirement is that you plan ONE field trip for the co-op for the year. Field trips can be museum outings, classroom experiences, tours, road trips out of town, park outings, there is no restriction. You can specify the age student your trip is for, you can plan one with no limit on attendance, or put a limit as needed. Think of fine arts - tickets to a performance, career oriented exposure to a new field - farming, engineering, manufacturing, medical, financial, maybe your field? Primary grades and even older can visit all the community helpers - police, fire dept, hospital, church, grocery stores! We always have many trips that are free of charge, and there are some that require a fee.
Your commitment to plan one field trip will give you access to at least 60 field trips!!
