Anchor's Annual Craft Fair 5:30pm-7:30pm @ Mid Valley Baptist Church
Share your crafty talents with our local communities. Adults and children are welcome to have a booth to sell their items or lead a craft/game.
- If you or your child would like to reserve a booth:
- RSVP (by Dec. 5th at 12pm)
- Please indicate if you want a full or half table- (If your family has several items to sell and will need a 6ft table, or If your family only has one or two items to sell and will need about a 4ft table)
- You will be assigned a table and location. Be sure to indicate any special requests such as "Need to be near an outlet, door, etc."
- Have a sign for your table-You may bring a table cloth and decorations for your table.
- Let us know what you are selling and for how much.
- If you are selling items, arrive at 5:00pm to set up your booth. Doors will open at 5:30pm. Clean up is from 7:30pm-8:00pm
- You do not need to RSVP if you are not running a booth
- To view a list of what people are selling click 'view a list of all signed up'. (only viewable by members)
Spread the word to your family, friends, church, and neighbors. Anchor will reach out to our local newspaper and pass out flyers to local buinesses and Durham neighbors
NOTES:
30 tables were used (had to grab all the tables from inside the church-we labled with blue tape)
32ppl signed up for full/half tables
Each table was previously asigned prior to sellers arriving (based on requests- outlets, by door, etc.) We needed extention cords and power strips- pulled from inside the church. Had enough!
set up- huge U shape with two row down the middle, seemed to work out really well.
About 30 pulled pork plates were sold (only broke even- sell for about $7 next yr.) Sandwhich, coleslaw, chips, and water
Timing was perfect (2hr event).
Great turn out! -We advertised in the Durham paper for two weeks, flyers around town, FB post, told family, friends, neighbors, church
Had no issues or complaints as far as I know
I emailed instructions the week of, to show up at 5pm to set up. People starting arriving at 4:15pm!! Good thing I was there!
