Mr. Joseph Westrich To All Instructors

Joseph grew up homeschooled and graduated from VIA after spending many years involved in robotics teams throughout middle school and high school; these experiences sparked his excitement for engineering and hands on problem solving. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and now works at Boston Scientific as a Mechanical Design Engineer, creating equipment that helps produce life changing medical devices. Joseph has a deep love of learning, a strong commitment to his Catholic faith, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching. When he is not engineering, he enjoys woodworking, 3D printing useful creations for his home, and taking evening walks with his wife. Joseph and his wife are thrilled to be welcoming their first child in mid-October.
