Grade 1 — Literacy Foundations

Strengthen reading, writing, speaking, and listening through phonics, stories, discussion, and supported writing.

Learning focus

• Develop decoding and reading fluency
• Discuss stories and build vocabulary
• Write sentences and organize ideas

This class is available individually or as one of four classes in the full core program. Full-program families should register for the full program; Wild Wonder will coordinate individual classroom placement.

Schedule and enrollment

• Semester: January 19–May 14, 2027.
• Meets: Tuesday and Thursday, 11:15 AM–12:15 PM.
• Tuition: $125 per month for five payments, January–May ($625 semester tuition). Payments are due January 1, February 1, March 1, April 1, and May 1, 2027.
• Supply fee: $20 due at enrollment.
• Class limit: 15 students.
