High School — English II

Deepen literary analysis and develop more independent, purposeful writing. English II builds on English I-level preparation through close reading, sustained discussion, and increasingly developed written arguments.

• Compare themes, perspectives, and techniques across texts
• Develop arguments and analytical writing with evidence
• Strengthen research, source evaluation, revision, and communication

This course is available individually or as one of four courses in the applicable full core program. Families selecting the full program should register for that program rather than purchasing the same included course separately; Wild Wonder Collective will coordinate classroom placement.

Recommended placement

High school English II level; placement should follow English I-level preparation. Texas TEKS defines this course by content and credit rather than a mandatory single grade.

Schedule and enrollment

• Semester: January 19–May 14, 2027.
• Meets: Tuesday and Thursday, 11:15 AM–12:15 PM.
• Recommended ages/grades: 9th,10th,11th,12th.
• Tuition: $125 per month for five payments, January–May ($625 semester tuition). Payments are due January 1, February 1, March 1, April 1, and May 1, 2027.
• Supply fee: $20 due at enrollment.
• Class limit: 15 students.
