High School — World History

Examine the people, societies, and ideas that have shaped world history. Students connect historical developments across regions and time periods while evaluating evidence and different perspectives.

Learning focus

• Trace patterns of cultural, political, and economic change
• Compare societies and examine interactions among regions
• Develop historical arguments using sources, maps, and chronology

This course is available individually or as one of four courses in the applicable full core program. Families selecting the full program should register for that program rather than purchasing the same included course separately; Wild Wonder Collective will coordinate classroom placement.

Recommended placement

High school World History level. Current Texas TEKS does not prescribe a single grade; placement is based on the student's prior studies and academic plan.

Grade recommendations guide placement. Readiness and prior coursework are reviewed by Wild Wonder Collective.

Schedule and enrollment

• Semester: January 19–May 14, 2027.
• Meets: Tuesday and Thursday, 02:30 PM–03:30 PM.
• Recommended ages/grades: 9th,10th,11th,12th.
• Tuition: $125 per month for five payments, January–May ($625 semester tuition). Payments are due January 1, February 1, March 1, April 1, and May 1, 2027.
• Supply fee: $20 due at enrollment.
• Class limit: 15 students.
