Rocks & Minerals — Ages 5–8

Explore the rocks and minerals that make up the world beneath our feet. Students practice noticing physical properties and using observations to compare and classify natural materials.

Learning focus

• Compare color, texture, shape, and other visible properties
• Explore how rocks and minerals are used
• Build observation, sorting, and scientific vocabulary skills

Schedule and enrollment

• Semester: January 19–May 14, 2027.
• Meets: Monday, 11:15 AM–12:15 PM.
• Recommended ages/grades: 5 y/o,6 y/o,7 y/o,8 y/o.
• Tuition: $40 per month for five payments, January–May ($200 semester tuition). Payments are due January 1, February 1, March 1, April 1, and May 1, 2027.
• Supply fee: $30 due at enrollment.
• Class limit: 15 students.
