All About Maps — Ages 9–11

Discover how maps help people understand places and navigate the world. Students explore the information maps communicate and practice turning spatial questions into useful representations.

• Read map keys, symbols, directions, and scale concepts
• Compare different types of maps
• Create maps that communicate clear information

Schedule and enrollment

• Semester: January 19–May 14, 2027.
• Meets: Monday, 11:15 AM–12:15 PM.
• Recommended ages/grades: 9 y/o,10 y/o,11 y/o.
• Tuition: $40 per month for five payments, January–May ($200 semester tuition). Payments are due January 1, February 1, March 1, April 1, and May 1, 2027.
• Supply fee: $30 due at enrollment.
• Class limit: 15 students.
