Popcorn Psychology — Ages 15–17

Explore introductory psychology through examples from movies and society. Teens examine how stories portray thoughts, emotions, behavior, and social influence while discussing the limits of what an example can tell us.

• Consider motivation, perception, emotions, and social behavior
• Compare a portrayal with evidence and alternative explanations
• Practice respectful discussion and critical media viewing

Schedule and enrollment

• Semester: January 19–May 14, 2027.
• Meets: Friday, 11:15 AM–12:15 PM.
• Recommended ages/grades: 15 y/o,16 y/o,17 y/o.
• Tuition: $40 per month for five payments, January–May ($200 semester tuition). Payments are due January 1, February 1, March 1, April 1, and May 1, 2027.
• Supply fee: $30 due at enrollment.
• Class limit: 15 students.
