FAQs
Requirements
Q: |
What is required of parents? |
A: |
The CACHE Co-op is a volunteer organization and the success of the group depends on the participation of parents in areas such as teaching, setting up before or cleaning up after co-op, or other duties as assigned. Each family must have one volunteering member (typically parents) per semester. Areas to volunteer are primarily teaching a class; which includes priority class registration for the whole family. Another option would be being on the cleaning rotation and or serving in another capactity. |

Q: |
What is the difference between membership and registration? |
A: |
While both Membership and regsitration do require agreeing to the Handbook, Submiting a Pastoral Refference and approval by the CACHE board, there are big differences. Memberships Membership in CACHE allows you to both register for classes (though its not required) and the abiblty to attend all of our events as well. Membership comes with CACHE t-shirts included in the fee. It also allows you and your family to attend our field trips, holiday parties, dances (including prom), graduations, extra sporting events, showcase, recitals and more. While some of these wll include additonal fees such a field trip to the City Museum or Prom for example; membership helps us keep our events for members only to ensure that eveyrone shares and agrees to the policies and beliefs in the handbook. Registration Registration is for specific classes. Each class is 10 weeks long and includes it's own details age/grade range, fees and requirements (such as homework, participation etc). Membership does not guarentee registration, but it is required in order to register. Each sememster there will be new and returning classes to regsiter for, so be sure to keep an eye out for those updates.
