Ms. Erika Lazenby To All Instructors

Erika Lazenby discovered her passion for Spanish while attending Cal Lutheran University. In 2021, she graduated cum laude with her Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and minors in both Chemistry and Art History. Her passion for Spanish continued to grow as she privately tutored High School students, assisted in classrooms at King’s Academy, and has helped her peers improve their skills and understanding of the language. Since graduation, she has continued to practice her Spanish language skills in her position as restaurant manager, teachers assistant, tutor, new mother, and now a teacher.  

Erika brings her bi-literacy with her in and outside of the classroom; from the country of Spain to an ordinary coffee shop, she delights in being able to connect and communicate with others in a meaningful way through speaking Spanish. She is a young wife and a new mother who aspires to teach her daughters to be fluent in English and Spanish, just like her.  We are so blessed to welcome Erika to our ILC community in Fall 2025.
