Central Mass. Christian Homeschool Co-op
2024-2025 Student Code of Conduct
Welcome to Co-op! We are committed to providing the best possible climate for maximum growth in all students. In order to maintain an atmosphere where our members’ Christian faith is honored and this growth can be accomplished, the Central Mass. Christian Homeschool Co-op (CMCH) has established a Code of Conduct, which promotes a community of respect for members, families, and facilities.
Professional Behavior

- Students are expected to pay attention in class, even when the teacher is working with other students.
- Students must not talk when the teacher is speaking to the class.
- No eating is allowed during class.
- All electronic devices must be silenced during class and used only with permission from the teacher.

Safety
- Students are to remain in the building during class times, unless instructed to exit by a teacher, parent, or fire alarm.
- Students must always stay in areas that are visible to teachers or parents.
- No playing in or on elevators, stairs, or bathrooms. No running, fighting, or other similarly disruptive behavior is tolerated during Co-op class and break times.
Resolution of Code of Conduct Issues
- Behavior is brought to the attention of the student.
- If appropriate, resolution is encouraged between students and facilitated by their parents and a member of the Co-op leadership team.
- If negative behavior does not stop, a meeting will be scheduled between the involved parties, their parents, the leadership team, and a board member.
- If there is continued problematic behavior, the student may be dismissed with consultation from the CMCH Board of Directors.
Please note, this is not an exhaustive list of conduct. Leadership reserves the right to intervene when something is deemed inappropriate. CMCH Co-op students are ambassadors for the organization and the behavior of each student reflects upon the entire group. Each student is expected to use good manners, display common courtesy and show consideration for others. A successful Co-op experience requires a cohesive group wherein each individual accepts and follows the same standards of behavior.
