April Townsley To All Instructors

April Townsley is from the Republic of Panama, and moved to Texas as a young adult to attend college. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science and Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders both from UT Austin, and currently holds a Doctorate of Audiology from A.T. Still University. She has worked as an Audiologist in the Dallas area for over 20 years primarily at UT Southwestern and private practices, and her specialty is in pediatric audiology.

April has been teaching homeschool art through various private venues for the past ten years. She draws inspiration from her faith and from nature, and enjoys engaging kids in many media to explore their creativity. She is also a certified instructor of VEX IQ and VEX 123, and has experience teaching robotics using VEX products in a homeschool co-op.
