Chemistry

 Description:
General Chemistry will be an overview of 16 basic areas of this science: from Scientific Method, Stoichiometry, Gas Laws, to Thermodynamics, Kinetics and Chemical equilibrium.
 

Required Lab will be in either the period before or after class every other week. Lab procedures are included in the textbook. Occasionally, students may be asked to bring materials for lab that are easily obtained.
 

The week with no lab will be a required recitation period - for extra time for help, quizzes, or tests. My hope is that every student can be successful in chemistry.

Prerequisite: Completion of Algebra 2 with a 'C' or greater. Concurrent Algebra 2 students are also welcome if they excel in math.
 

Cell Phone Policy: no cell phones allowed
 

Zoom Policy: I will use Zoom on snow days or (with advanced notice) when I am out of town
