Mrs. Julia McIntyre To All Instructors

Hello! My name is Julia McIntyre! My husband, Logan, and I have been happily married for ten years, and we are blessed to be the parents of three beautiful children. Our homeschooling journey began when our oldest started preschool, and from day one, we knew we had found our calling. Four years later, homeschooling has become not just our way of learning, but a deeply meaningful part of who we are as a family. The support and encouragement from the incredible, Godly educators at Illuminate have been such a gift in this journey, and I can’t imagine walking this path without them by my side.

 

We live on a beautiful hundred-acre farm in the countryside, which we lovingly refer to as our own “Hundred Acre Woods.” Our family raises pigs, chickens, and turkeys. We share our space with several lazy cats and our farm dog, Harvey. Living off the land is a significant part of our lives, and I find great joy in gardening, growing our homestead, and striving to live as naturally as possible.

 

In the midst of all our farm life, we treasure every moment spent together as a family. Whether we’re camping under the stars, hiking through the woods, or exploring the beauty of the beach, we are constantly amazed by God’s creation and the endless opportunities to learn from it. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to homeschool and share this love for learning with my children. I look forward to continuing this journey with all of you, growing in knowledge, faith, and community.
