Mrs. Sheryl Egner To All Instructors

Hi! I’m a teacher with a heart for kids and a love for learning. I’ve been married to my husband, Mark, for 39 years. We have four grown children and are proud grandparents to nine amazing grandkids—four of whom attend Illuminate! I spent 10 years teaching elementary school and, for the past 3 years, I’ve had the joy of working with homeschool students in co-op settings. Mark and I also run Bricks 4 Kidz of Grand Rapids, and for the last 8 years, I’ve been teaching STEAM/Technic and Robotics classes all around the greater Grand Rapids area. When we’re not working, you’ll likely find us playing with our grand-kids, reading a good book, or unwinding at our cabin in the UP.
