Mrs. Sarah Paulson To All Instructors

Hi! I’m Mrs. Paulson, and I’m excited to be teaching American Sign Language at Illuminate this year!

I earned my Associate’s Degree in American Sign Language and worked as an ASL interpreter for nearly 10 years before staying home with my family.

My husband and I have five children, and we have been part of the homeschooling community for several years. I love spending time with my family, baking sourdough, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors.

I’m passionate about sharing ASL and Deaf culture with students and creating a classroom where they can have fun, build confidence, and learn to communicate in a new way.

I’m looking forward to a wonderful year at Illuminate!
