Thanks for your willingness to teach at A.C.E.C.!

Anchored Christian Education Center (ACEC) is a Christian association for homeschoolers that offers classes and assistance to homeschooling parents.  ACEC is an academic co-op that strives for excellence in the classroom.  Facilitators are expected to be punctual, prepared and ready for class each week.  While parents are responsible for the student’s education, it is the facilitator’s responsibility to ensure that the students understand the information, complete assigned work, and retain the information for testing purposes.

ACEC encourages parents and members of the community to submit classes they would like to teach.  New class proposals should be submitted no later than January 10 for the next school year.  The Leadership Team will review each submission and consider proposals based on the needs of ACEC, qualifications of the facilitator, scheduling availabilty.

ACEC Statement of Faith: 

We believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.  We believe He was born of a virgin, was crucified, buried, and rose from the dead and will return to claim His own one day.  We believe in the inerrant Word of God, the Bible.  We believe in the trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that they exist with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

Student Safety:

The safety of our students is a priority at ACEC.  

In order to protect our students and limit potential risks and threats, ACEC requires a background check that includes records from state and local agencies to be submitted by each facilitator yearly.

We also ask that all facilitators be trained in how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse through Darkness to Light (d2l.org). This is completed every three years.

Class Technology:
ACEC uses the Homeschool-Life platform to streamline communication, post assignments, expectations, class schedules, calendar events, grades, and online videos.  This provides one place for students and parents to access all the information they need.
