1. Statement of Faith
We believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, who was born of a virgin, crucified, buried and rose from the dead, and will return to claim His own. We believe the Bible as the inerrant Word of God, and in the Trinity--Father, Son and Holy Spirit--distinct in person but one in essence.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to empower families through a collaborative and supportive environment, foster academic growth with high-quality academic instruction, and encourage a love for lifelong learning.

Accreditation

Anchored is not an accredited school; however all high school core classes, as well as most electives, meet NCAA accreditation standards. If a class is not accredited, this will be clearly noted in the course description. The decision to seek external accreditation for a child is at the discretion of the parent.

Acknowledgment of Agreement
All members of Anchored Christian Education Center agree to our Statement of Faith in its entirety and are willing to abide by the standards outlined. Furthermore, it is understood that Anchored membership is based on compliance, cooperation, and collaboration toward these goals.

To prevent division between Anchored, our families, and especially our students, if conduct within a home, or the activities or lifestyle choices of the student, are in direct opposition of what the Bible teaches and are contrary to what we believe, Anchored reserves the right to deny or discontinue membership.

2. Handbook Acknowledgement

I acknowledge that the Anchored Christian Education Center Handbook is available to me digitally via email and on the Homeschool-Life site under Member Resources. I have read and understand the contents of the Handbook, including the expectations for participation for both parents and students.

3. Parent Participation Acknowledgement

ACEC is a parent-led community, and the involvement of every family is essential to our success. Parent participation is a foundational part that allows our program to operate safely, effectively, and affordably. By serving together, we create an environment where our students can thrive academically, spiritually, and socially.

Each family is required to fulfill a parent participation role for the entire school year. Responsibilities vary, with some roles requiring an on-campus presence while others can be completed primarily off campus. Because every family has unique gifts, talents, and schedules, we encourage you to prayerfully consider where you can best serve.

Serving at ACEC is more than meeting a requirement—it is an opportunity to build relationships, support our students and families, and strengthen the community that makes Anchored such a special place. We are grateful for each family's commitment to contribute and work together to ensure a successful year for everyone.

Parent Participation Roles

Daily Set Up - Place all “Do not enter” signs in appropriate locations. Set up tables/chairs needed for the day. Place trashcans in appropriate locations ensuring that all have trash bags.
Daily Tear Down - Beginning at 2:30p, empty all trashcans and place trash bag in outside bin. Fold up tables and place in facilitator's room. Put up all “Do not enter” signs. Clean and vacuum.
Event Team – participating and executing schoolwide events throughout the year.
Class Mom – grade specific field trips and parties throughout the year.
Rover – walk around inside and outside during specific school hours to keep an eye on students for safety.
Lunch Monitor - Ensuring proper behavior by monitoring the Dock during lunch period including student clean-up of eating area.
Monthly Cleaning - These tasks should be completed once per month: sweeping and mopping the hallway upstairs, wiping down at the microwave room, and sweeping the stairways and cleaning any spills or sticky stuff off of the stairways
Facilitator – serves as a facilitator for at least one class during each semester at Anchored.
Leadership – participates as an Anchored Board Member.

Payment Instructions

Family Membership Fees are due in full upon registration, based on the grade of the oldest enrolled child, and are non-refundable.

* This applies to families with only one student enrolled at ACEC who is fully Dual Enrolled. If a family has a Dual Enrolled senior and additional siblings enrolled at ACEC, the registration fee will be determined by the age of the oldest sibling. Fully Dual Enrolled (DE) student is defined as a student taking all classes at a college or university through the state Dual Enrollment program.
