Park Day Coordinator – Volunteer Role Description
We’re looking for volunteers to serve as Park Day Coordinators for our weekly Tuesday park meetups! This is a great way to help build community, ensure consistency, and bring a little fun and structure to our gatherings.
What’s Involved?
Each volunteer will commit to coordinating one Tuesday per month for at least three consecutive months (for example: the 1st Tuesday of March, April, and May).
Your Role Each Month:

Be Present: Show up to park day on your assigned Tuesday.

Send a Reminder: Email or message the group the weekend before your assigned Tuesday. Include any details or fun activities you’d like to plan.

Examples:

Planning a simple game like kickball? Let families know what ages it’s geared toward.

Bringing a treat like popsicles? Give parents a heads-up in case they prefer to bring an alternative for their kids.

Be the Point Person: Help greet newcomers and make everyone feel welcome.
How to Sign Up:

Choose your preferred dates from the Volunteer Calendar.

Sign up for the “Park Day Coordinator” role on those dates.

If you are unable to make it on your selected date, please find a replacement coordinator to cover for you.
