Sock Hop will take place in the Student Center Building to the east of the main building.

CHEACC Family Sock Hop, Monday, March 11, 2019, 6:30-pm

Roll up those jeans and polish those saddle shoes!  CHEACC is having a SOCK HOP!!

We will begin the evening on Monday, March 11th, at 6:30pm in the CPCC Student Center with potluck dinner and the twisting and shouting will begin at 7pm. There will be hula hoop contests, best dressed, Elvis impersonations and more! 

Please sign up on the calendar with how many will be coming and what potluck dish you will be contributing. We ask that you consider volunteering to help: 6-8 volunteers are needed.

 

THE SOCK HOP IS A SIGN-UP EVENT (invite a friend)... Please use the sign-up feature below to RSVP and let us know what covered dish you’ll be bringing.

 

CHEACC will be providing:  drinks, plates, cups, napkins, utensils, and entertainment.

VOLUNTEER NEEDS:

we are in need of 6-8 volunteers for this event.

  • 2 - 4 for "TABLES & CHAIRS SET-UP":
    • arrive at 5pm --(Kasia will confirm set-up time.)
    • set-up tables and chairs.
      • 4-5 tables for food service.
      • 10 tables with chairs for familes to sit and eat
  • 2 for "PREP & SET-UP":
    • arrive at 5:30pm.
    • help put on table covers.
    • prepare and put out the drinks/refreshments
    • put out paper-goods.
    • assist families with food placements as they arrive with their dishes.
  • 2 for "CLEAN-UP":
    • about 8:45pm, gather lids & utensils to help families take their foods home
    • once foods are gone, remove table cloths & dispose of in trash cans.
    • check the first floor building (where the Sock Hop is held) for paper products/trash, etc.
    • dispose of drinks/clean out beverage dispensers.
    • make sure no messes are left anywhere.
    • check the bathrooms.
    • Table/Chairs packed up & full cleaning is completed by Center Point staff.
    • should be able to leave by 9:30pm.
