Literature comes alive with Jim Weiss. As a storyteller, Jim strives to provide children with a link between classical literature and their own personal life experiences. His connection to his audience is magnetic and interactive, proof positive that storytelling today rejuvenates one of the first and most personal forms of entertainment. Not only does Jim provide an excellent model of oral language, but he presents a stimulating array of timeless classics that have endured because they are so essential to human growth and development. Jim's stories appeal to children and adults, bonding families together with the love of literature and an understanding of what makes his timeless characters great.
AFTERNOON SEMINAR & AN EVENING STORY-TELLING TIME.
- The afternoon seminar will include information on structure of a story, value of story-telling, building characters and voices, public speaking and overcoming stage fright. The seminar is geared toward children 9 through 18 although he said parents are welcome and younger siblings as well. This session is at 1 pm - 3 pm.
- The evening portion will consist of Jim using his talents to tell stories. The topics are Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Rome, and Greek Mythology. It will be from 7:00pm - 8:30pm
We are so blessed to be able to get him to come to Naples. He is a very sought-after speaker and we are so excited to hear him and learn from him.
The prices are as follows:
- Pre-paid: Afternoon Seminar: $15/individual, or $30/family -- includes evening free.
- At the door price, afternoon session: $20/person or $35/family --includes evening session
- Pre-paid: Evening Only: $10/individual or $20/family
- At the door price, evening only: $15/person or $25/family
If you attend the afternoon seminar your paid admission will get your family into the evening story time as well.
No refunds on any sessions.

Jim Weiss' recordings will be available for purchase at both sessions.
