Americans for Prosperity (AFP) is partnering with FAIRSD. They are generously hosting grassroots training to equip people with the tools to help make this happen. Join in to learn: The legislative process. How does a bill go through a committee and then onto the floor? How can you follow along? Effective citizen/activist lobbying. How can you be most effective in reaching and impacting legislators? How to tell your story. Why is it important? What are the basics and etiquette of sharing your story with legislators, testifying in hearings, and sharing in cracker barrels?
