Course Overview Welcome to a world of discovery! In this engaging, play-based class, kids will embark on an exciting journey to master the building blocks of homeschooling. Through a blend of multi-sensory activities, catchy songs, and hands-on exploration, children will build the confidence they need to learn.

PRESCHOOL

• Ages: Typically 2-4 years old.

• Environment: Often less structured, acting as a bridge from toddlerhood, sometimes like an extension of daycare. 

PRE-K (Pre-Kindergarten)

• Ages: Generally 4-5 years old, the year before kindergarten.
• Focus: Kindergarten readiness with more structure, including early literacy (phonemic awareness), math, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
• Environment: More focused on academic prep, sometimes within a school setting, preparing for the formal K environment. 
• Ages: Typically 5-6 years old.
• Focus: Formal academics: significant literacy (phonics, reading, writing), math skills, and higher expectations for self-management and collaboration.
• Environment: The official start of elementary school, with rigorous curriculum & assessments.
