Hello! I am so excited to grow alongside the students in the science class this year at the Vine Co-op! A little bit about me is that I hold a degree in biochemistry and have had the opportunity to work in a biotech lab conducting enzyme research, as well as serve in the emergency room as an EMT—experiences that have deepened my appreciation for the complexity and wonder of science! For the past three years, I have been homeschooling our four children, which has become one of the most meaningful parts of my life. I’ve been married to my husband, Ryan, for nearly 13 years, and enjoy days together as a family, whether it is out on the ski hill, ice skating and paddle boarding on the lake, or catching Northerns off the dock. One of my greatest joys is being a wife and mom. What I love most about science is its endless discoveries and the constant opportunity to learn something new—and how, ultimately, it all points back to God’s incredible design and creativity.
