Ewelina McBroom To All Instructors
I was born and grew up in Poland. I have lived in the U.S. since 1998 in Tennessee, Texas, and Missouri. I have been married to my husband Jeremy for over twenty years and have two children.
I have a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from Texas State University and a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Memphis. I have taught math and economics at the high school and college levels since 2006. I have tutored students of all ages (5-60+). My husband and I owned and operated a math learning center in Texas where we hosted a STEAM Club for elementary and middle school students.
From the corporate world, to a high school teacher, to a university professor, to a small business owner, and a homesteader, I bring a unique collection of knowledge, skills and experiences to the classroom. I believe all children are natural learners and I’m a big proponent of self-directed education. I love incorporating my students’ interests into our classroom activities and helping them develop their God’s given talents.
My hobbies include photography, gardening, reading, and crafting. I love traveling and learning about other cultures. My husband and I have hosted high school exchange students from Poland, Brazil, Spain, Ecuador, and Germany. This year we are hosting a boy from Poland.
