Beth Brown To All Instructors
Beth holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and has been passionate about teaching since 1990. With 36 years of experience working with children and adults of all ages she currently teaches English online to students in China and serves as Director of U.S. Operations for SEEDS English Ministry, an organization dedicated to sharing the Gospel with Asian students.
Beth has a deep love for travel and missions, serving annually in both Hong Kong and Taiwan. She has been married to her husband Rob for 34 years and they have one daughter Emily who was homeschooled and now attends UTM.
At the heart of Beth's teaching philosophy is a belief that education should ignite a lifelong love of learning. She designs her classes to give students enough to satisfy their curiosity while leaving them hungry to discover more. Above all her greatest desire is that every student she teaches encounters Jesus through the experience.
Beth also carries a special heart for students with unique learning needs. She is a trained advocate through the Volunteer Advocacy Project at Vanderbilt University and serves as a Special Needs Advocate with the Homeschool Care Foundation. She firmly believes that every special needs student has the capacity to thrive when given the right environment, support and accommodations.
